We’re on the hunt for a talented equine marketer to join Ziba Creative in the role of Marketing Executive

At Ziba, we work with a diverse range of equine businesses throughout Australasia, ranging from thoroughbred and standardbred studs and stables to some of the world’s leading bloodstock agents, brands, and tech companies.

This role presents the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about equine marketing and the thoroughbred industry to work alongside a team of like-minded equine marketers.

Prior experience and a solid understanding of the thoroughbred industry is essential for this role.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Must have a genuine interest in horses and marketing
  • Possess a firm understanding of the thoroughbred industry, including the use of relevant terminology
  • Be extremely detail orientated with high standards
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Can work at a fast pace and is a quick learner
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Skilled in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing
  • Prior experience using WordPress and associated website design templates
  • Advanced copywriting skills
  • Must be creative and driven by innovation

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client social media accounts, including paid advertising
  • Copywriting for website content, news articles and social media
  • Designing and deploying email marketing campaigns
  • Creating marketing proposals
  • Brand strategy and implementation
  • Mood boarding and the development of creative design briefs
  • Managing client accounts
  • Attending video and photoshoots
  • Video editing
  • Covering racing results
  • Assist with website development projects
  • Create monthly Google Analytics and social media reports
  • Updating and managing website content
  • Assisting with the development of digital and print projects

To be successful in your application, you must have a genuine interest and passion for the thoroughbred industry and possess well-developed marketing skills. The successful candidate can work remotely from their own home but will be required to travel occasionally for work. Applicants based in the Waikato region (NZ) or willing to relocate are preferred.
